to the Website of Wisbech Rugby Union Football Club This Website is the latest
addition to the facilities that Wisbech RUFC offers its members and rugby
in the Eastern Counties. The last 6 years have see
Wisbech make tremendous progress as club at all levels. Success in the
Eastern Counties Leagues and headline grabbing national cup runs have been
the highlights on the pitch at 1st XV level. Continued excellence at mini
and youth levels show the commitment the club makes to the development of
the game were it really counts. The foundation of these successes is high
quality coaching. Wisbech RUFC can be proud of its coaching structure and
the expertise that is brought to bear on enhancing techniques and skills
for all players. The biggest asset we have as
Club is our clubhouse. The sound financial standing the club had in the
mid 1990s was put to good use in combination with National Trust, the
Sports Council and the National Lottery. Wisbech RUFC has a facility the
town and rugby can be proud of. It is a responsibility of all members to
ensure that the clubhouse continues to be maintained in the manner it
deserves. The future development of
rugby in Wisbech has strong foundations. Players at all levels can be
certain of performing in a club, which has clear ambitions. Those people
that devote many hours a week to rugby in Wisbech are deserving of the
