	RFU lift suspension Following the allegations in the Mail on Sunday the RFU on request of Wisbech Rugby club issued former under 13 couch Leonard Veenendaal with a temporary suspension order. A submission from Veenendaal and the RFU's own investigation saw the RFU lift the suspension order. However to date Wisbech Rugby Club's have not followed the RFU's lead, nor have they conducted their own investigation or awarded Veenendaal the opportunity to put his case. If the sport's governing body can find no reason to take action, WRUFC Committee's actions smell of personal agenda's and small mindedness.
	Wisbech Warriors 1998 - 2003 A name original given to the squad by former Mini/youth chairman Richard Pinning when he register the team for the Six Counties 7's championships which they also won. 	Legal response follows Wisbech Committee's banning of former coach The unjust over hastily banning of Leonard Veenendaal former under 13's couch has widely been condemned throughout the club membership, coaches and players. Recently the club received a legal letter form Veenendaal's attorney's with possible very embarrassing legal action to follow.......make up your own mind
	West Norfolk establish girls academy for 11 - 16 year olds West Norfolk women's rugby team, currently league champions, will be playing in National Division 2 East League. The side is coached and managed by Malcolm Baker. Currently the team have 1 England u/19, who started out with the girls u16 team only two seasons ago. This ambitious side are looking for new players to join this successful squad and help put a 5 year plan into effect - to be be premiership Division 2 and Norfolk's premier women's side. To achieve this West Norfolk are forming a girls rugby academy for 11 to 16 year olds that will take place on Saturday mornings at West Norfolk Rugby Club. Says Malcolm "I invite any wife, girlfriend, mother, daughter and friend of your players and club to join us on a Wednesday night for fun summer training and touch rugby. We have a full social calendar and playing calendar with matches on Sundays. I hope you will help us to promote women's rugby." 	Under 13s - Sunday 27/04/03 Boston 7's Festival Norfolk County Champions Wisbech under 13's had been promised a competitive day with important teams from all over the region and full media coverage. What they actually got was a howling gale, three embarrassingly easy victories, and one half-decent game winning the tournament by a staggering 166 points to only 5 conceded.....
	Under 13's - Saturday 19/04/03 Wisbech 20 Staines 5 The previous weeks lost to Cambridge hurt and when the opportunity to make amends and end of the season with a win the boys grabbed it! The opportunity came in the form of an invitation to play Staines RFC on tour in a Saturday fixture.... [7's squad announced].
	Under 13s - Sunday 13/04/03 Wisbech 27 Cambridge 29 With the cricket pitches already marked out, this fixture had something of an end of season feeling about it as the cup-winning Wisbech side lost an enthralling match in the dying seconds at Harecroft Road on Sunday.....
	1st XV - Saturday 12/04/03 Wisbech 13 Crusaders 16 Crusaders grabbed a dramatic lifeline at the Harecroft Road Ground on Saturday with a penalty kick in injury-time to snatch victory, and thus a priceless 16 - 13 win putting them clear over relegation rivals Newmarket and Wisbech.....
