County Selection
2002/03 - Season Congratulations to centre Rudie Van der Merwe who had been selected to represent Eastern Counties on 16 April 2003. "This is the first time Wisbech have had a senior player representing the club at this level for as long as any one here can remember" said Wisbech skipper Paul "Slippery" Lee 2000/01 Season saw the selection of veteran front row Paul Lee for Cambridge County making his début against North Walsham. 2001/02 Season earned Matt Desborough, Matt Murdock as well as brothers Steve & Dave Foster selection for Cambridge County, unfortunately Dave had to withdraw due to injury. Congratulations and well done on behalf of Wisbech RUFC. |
